Great picture.
You make your super old grandparents babysit on the weekends?
It may or may not be a coincidence but, in July of 1954, Elvis played his first professional public concert at the Overton Park bandshell which is basically on the property of the Memphis Zoo. Any idea if they were there? He opened for Slim Whitman. The bandshell is still there. Oh, and great picture.
This is excellent.
We were at a wedding this weekend. The couple who won the “married the longest” dance we’re married 68 years. Incredible to have that much time together and still be active like that.

Grandma getting a little frisky in public. 🤣
This is so cool! My parents were married in Tupelo, MS in 1954. Daddy was in the Navy, stationed in Millington, and they lived in Memphis until ‘58. My mom died in 2016, and my daddy passed back in April at 87 yo. RIP.
Your grandparents are definitely old school cool!
Ah geeze they are in their 80s and still working?
I thought social security was supposed to be taking care of our old folks!
Please tell me it’s to keep their minds active post retirement
You and your child are so lucky to have these two in your lives
Timeless picture. Lovely couple. True love.
They must be 90!!
Please tell me they’re working for personal enjoyment or this is going to r/aboringdystopia
I know this has become a bit of a cliché on here but wow, that lady is stunning.
My Gramma was the most important person in my young life. I’m glad your kiddo has the opportunity to be with your Grands ❤️
There’s a classic photo from 1956 of Johnny Cash holding Roseanne Cash in this exact same setting at the Memphis Zoo.
