My grandmothers service was today, these are some of the many quilts she made for us over the years.

What beautiful things to have as memories of her- like warm hugs.
Wow! **Beautiful** quilts, her presence will always be with you in the warmth that these quilts will provide you.
What a tremendous way to remember her.
Those are beautiful and from the heart.
My condolences for her passing
This is so striking. Comforting her and the people left behind. I can only hope to be remembered in such a thoughtful and loving way. Sending hugs to you and your family.
That’s amazing. Great way for her to live forever in everyone’s memories! So sorry for your loss!
How beautiful!
Sorry for your loss. It’s never easy.
I was also lucky enough to have a quilter for a grandmother, and 20 years later, I am still using them as my primary bed covers. Hold onto them and pass them down, a warm hug from generations passed
What a lovely memorial to her talent and love. May you soon think of your memories with fondness instead of pain.
What a lovely tribute.
One word: wonderful.
Just wow. Lovely tribute.
grandma quilts are the best! well done, showing the love while sharing she impacted lives, kept people warm.
What a lovely idea.
Beautiful quilts. May you ever be wrapped in the warmth of her love. My condolences to you and your family.
That’s awesome that you honored her in this way.
Beautiful
That is stupendous and probably not all of them by a long shot. A very moving testament in this photo.
What a beautiful tribute. RIP Granny.
Respect to grandma!
I envy you. Quilts are made with love and they are a memory that will keep you warm on cold nights. You’ll always think of her when you get one out to warm up with.
My Nana has made so many quilts for us too and this just hit me in a major way. Thankfully she’s not gone yet, but she’s getting older and I know it won’t be far off where we will have to start thinking about this. Seeing this image just made it hit for me all at once.
What a beautiful tribute! I’m sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this.
The folks over at r/quilting would love to see this.
How awesome.
Those are beautiful threads of love weaving through the fabric of your family ❤️❤️❤️. May God Bless her soul and May she Rest In Peace 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It’s good to have a hobby that creates something in the real world.
2 things 1) those are wonderful I have a few that I have saved up from my cats in a huge cupboard that I made. 2) Reddit really needs a warning label before scroll to these post it reminds of my grandmother when she was making hers and I was eating snack packs and watch Dragonballz in the room with her….
A life well lived…
That is so beautiful.
Sorry for your loss, but fucking hell, that’s incredible
Man, those are beautiful!
What a lovely idea. I’m sorry for your loss.
Your grandmother was a true artist.
Now, let’s talk architecture. Some groovy 60’s genius designed a gorgeous modern church.
Some dingaling added a bunch of awful ceiling fans because it’s warm in summer.
Please, please dump those things. An HVAC person can solve this!
End of rant. Godspeed, granny!
I’m sorry for your loss. I love this so much. My grandma makes me wonderful quilts. When I snuggle my baby under them I always feel loved. I hope your grandmothers quilts bring you the same joy.
We did the same at my mother’s service. So beautiful and personal.
my mammaw made quilts like those! She birthed 15 children, and lived to age 97!
Wow. Beautiful. Condolences, straight from the heart.
Nice way to remember her
I saw a photo like this before and it inspired me to make everyone in my family a crochet blanket that year for Christmas. And I got one for all 3 my sisters and step mom, a shawl for my step mom, a hat for my dad and both of my brother in laws and 8 stuffed animals(two for each kid) for all my nieces and nephew. All done in a year.
2 of my most treasured possessions are a quilt my sister made for me and one my husband commissioned a friend of ours to make for me as an anniversary gift. I can feel the love when I wrap up in them
Amazing. I hope to make one some day.
Really like the one in the middle right side front row.

This is an awesome idea!! Sorry for your loss.
Nothing helps me fall asleep quicker than the quilt my aunt and grandma collaborated on for my birthday some 25 years ago.
Thanks for sharing, and my goodness she was talented.
2nd from the left on the front row is my favorite here.
I remember seeing this somewhere a very long time ago. It made me cry.
I wasn’t planning on crying today
RIP. They look warm and comfortable.
Beautiful tribute. Just beautiful.
