It was truly awful tbh. Bland, square maps with hideous hills that were immensely annoying to navigate, and oppressively bleak atmospheres, even on the planets that support life. It has not aged well
Even though it’s hard to learn how to control the Mako
I loved the feeling of emptiness and nothingness and just exploring the unexplored, then suddenly you come across a hidden lab of some extreme scientists
I’m sorry the name is hard to read, but I didn’t want to ruin the image, the name is mass effect btw.
Wish Starfield have this…
Much older game has better QoL lmao. Might be time for another playthrough of the trilogy with mods…

My unpopular opinion: bombing around planets in the Mako, climbing ridiculous hills, blowing dudes away with the cannon is awesome.
barren and full of rocks, nothing interesting to look at
millenial : OMG NEXT GEN GAME. GONNA LICK SOME BOOTS
I’m playing through the Legendary Edition now and playing Mass Effects for the first time ever and it’s great. No Bethesda jank and so much fun.
Oh look, it’s the worst vehicle in video games.
Same

Mine was Star Control II (https://store.steampowered.com/app/358920/Star_Control_I_and_II/).
Mass Effect is such a gem…
I wish Starfield was half as good. But well…
Better than what SF does.
Is this the remaster?
I’ve got some planet exploration you should experience. It’s called going outside nerd
this one’s still a masterpiece
For me it was Spore.
Starfield is better
