Please note that my kids nose is now totally fine and he’s very excited about the incident.
Thats pretty impressive honestly.
Been there before. Except I took my own knee to the nose idk about foot
witnesses: class made me laugh SO hard. usually its just the adult names on there 😂
If my foot ever manages to make contact with my face, please call an ambulance because something has broken.
But was the child taken to the hospital?
What’d you do at school today?
I kicked my ass. I won’t be messing with me again.
I would have put “Don’t kick yourself in the face”.
I work in a school, and had a girl in first grade who was in one of those junior pommers/cheerleaders groups. She was so proud that she was able to kick herself in the forehead. Fortunately not hard enough to get hurt. I don’t kids to get hurt, but I admit, I do love some good slapstick
“What the hell are you DOING?!”
“I’m kicking my ass, d’ya miinnnd??”
He did that Michael Jackson foot whippy thing didn’t he?
Wet tissue is the only first aid administered in school. Not sure why it has its own section.
As someone who has spent not a small amount of time supervising children; having kids understand that they control their body and it’s movements can be challenging.
Teacher posted a video of the incident [here](https://media.tenor.com/yxpzAkL8ABoAAAAd/weeman-kickinghimself.gif)
When I was about 7 I kicked myself in the face trying to kick a leaf on the ground. Knocked out a tooth.
Age 3 is the perfect time when you still have that weird toddler flexibility but also have grown to the size when your legs are just long enough to launch your foot into your face.
I’m surprised this doesn’t happen all the time.
My daughter did that when she was 4 , dancing and kicked herself right in the mouth.
She is 27 and still doesn’t stop talking
I mean, another way to say that is, “Have you tried not kicking yourself in the nose?”
All I am saying is that if this doesn’t make an appearance at his 21st or wedding or whatever, you have failed as a parent.
damn he flexble

Control body?!
I’m an adult and I can barely control my body. I’m so accident prone. lol
“blood slowed 10 minutes +/- of incident.”
What? So blood could have slowed 10 mins before the incident?
So, what’s the big deal here? Just tell Carter to control his body during class.
That’s some intense flexibility. My sister did that but she was a competitive dancer. She was kicking while walking down the hallway at school one day, without even realizing she was doing it. And she kicked herself in the face.
“…..cause every now and then I kick the living shit outta me”
I feel a kindred connection with your son.
In my 20s, I managed to give myself a nose bleed by kneeing myself in the face whilst headbanging, *on two separate occasions*.
It was the same song both times. Bodies by Drowning Pool.
No I’m not proud (of the song choice), but my excuse is I was young.
Action to prevent similar incidents:
Don’t uh … fuckin do that anymore?
For most of us, when we are flexible enough to literally put our foot into our mouth, we are too young to appreciate it. By the time we can appreciate it, we can only do it figuratively.
Lol. I taught k-4 physical education. Most of our classes were centered around learning how to control their bodies in one way or another 😆. The amount of kids that would run into the gym and just throw themselves on the floor, or against an object was terrifying. Also hilarious.
Ah, the good old days when I could accidentally kick myself in the face.. *sigh*.
Dancing *that* hard at 10:30 in the morning. Damn wish I still had the energy
Teacher writes in all caps except the letter “i”. iNTERESTiNG
Impressive. Most impressive
I broke my nose by trying to flip on a trampoline. Took my knee to the face. I was not that flexible but force x physics x no athleticism found a way
Where’s the sage advice!?!
How to prevent the problem?
Don’t do that next time. Problem solved.
