All the comments saying this is “dangerous” or “terrifying” have never had a pet over 50 lbs. Yes it is a cougar. But to the owner it is safer than driving a car. Also, the mountain lion is stupid because it clearly has no idea how to play the shell game.
This is why I will never understand hunting, this guy is just a big cat, there is nothing dangerous about wild animals if you shoot them from a car, go fight bare handed to get a real dangerous experience motherfuckers, let’s see who wins.

Super fascinating to see just how “limited” the cognitive capabilities of some animals is in certain scenarios. I’m sure there are plenty of animals that could grasp this without training but it’s still pretty interesting to see this little guy not get it.
