Me just celebrating 10 years of owning the greatest handheld ever – the PS Vita (It was a b-day gift from my gf. We got married)

Married with Vita? Congratulations!
OG soyjack face right there lol
That’s the last console I need to get and hack. WiiU decked out, 3DS decked out. I need this thing, but I want it new, and shit’s expensive.
Getting married to your electronic device is a little weird, but congratulations!
Congrats and hope you and your Vita’s have a very long happy life together.
I still use my Vita often. It really is amazing, especially when modded. It had so much potential, but feel Sony really screwed up on marketing since it seemed people didn’t even have a clue it existed back when it came out.
I am still waiting for the opportunity to get a cheap vita in my country, guess the economy is too fucked up for it to ever happen.
Will keep my psp until then.
The Vita was ahead of it’s time and sorely underrated
The Vita had so much potential. All that tech and they decided to leave it in the dust. Ahh… the glorious days of playing Persona 4 Golden.
Steam deck would like to have a word with you, jk that’s awesome, I remember trying my friends and it was the best thing ever at the time.
I love my PSP and Vita. Still play my PSP almost daily. I’m playing through Gun right now. It’s the original Red Dead.
wish you luck forever champ. I still got my vita after 5 or 6 years, great console.
Got my gf a used 1st gen Vita from a friend for Christmas to go along with my aqua 2nd gen one. We play Minecraft together eith adhoc mode many evenings after work. Truly an underrated hand held and I will be forever sad that it got treated how it did. I pre ordered the OG Vita back in the day from best buy and I will never forget how excited I was when it dropped. My face matched OPs from 2012.
wojak irl
How the hell is the Vita the greatest handheld? It had crappy first party games and the dual touch screens were lame and most games never even used both simultaneously.
Until the ps5 the only playstation product I personally owned was a psp. I still go back to it every now and then to play ff4 and tactics. The greatest handheld for me though was the 3ds, DQ8 and radiant historia is where it’s at. But but still congrats my dude.
Thought that was your gf on the left at first
Still have mine
I miss my PSP, it was so ahead of its time.
Literally I undusted mine today and replayed with my gf the entire Soul Sacrifice Delta story (only story, without playing the actual missions) and some lore entries. She absolutely loved it.
Man I really wish they gave Vita the support it deserved, or at least port its exclusive games to PS3-4 so more people could enjoy them. Truly some hidden gems there.
I miss my Ps vita, congrats on your marriage.
Ayyy, I just dug mine out for the PS1 library. It was the only way I could possible play Breath of Fire 3, and took it on vacation with me.
You sir….are a fortunate man.
:’)
<3
Bought my vita when Persona 4 came out. The system ended up becoming my Tactics Ogre machine. Still play it a few days a week. Hell, was just playing TO on my vita 10 minutes ago.
awesome!
Lethal levels of soy face on display
congratulations that’s so awesome, tbh I have one too and I’m scared to play with it lol I’m in love with the vita
I dug out my old Vita the other day. Man, even though not too many games were out on the Vita, there’s something about the vita itself that makes it perfect for portable gaming. At least it’s pretty simple to emulate tons of stuff on it 🙂
IDk about greatest, but pretty damn great for sure.
PSP was a marvel in its own and I went deep down the modding rabbit hole with that thing.
People used to shit kittens when I’d hack their PSP by messing with the battery and a pencil.
Looks like black magic until you understand what’s actually going on.
OP, your post is hitting me with the nostalgia vibes hard.
Poor thing was ahead of it’s time
there’s enough soy face for everyone!
Vita is only the greatest if you homebrew it. If not I’m sorry but 3ds is probably the greatest in my book. Vita lacked a ton of games. 🥺
Mf been perfecting his soy face for 10 years
I always wanted a PsVita but I could never find a reason to. I have a PSP and I couldn’t find any games I wanted to play on Psvita while I have so many in PsP.
the vita, a great little hand held. If only sony didn’t go full gimmick with back touch controls and camera. Instead giving us real r2/l2, clickable thumbs, and a cheaper memory card. Who know if we would’ve had a 3rd iteration of the vita.
That wojack face is too much
New soyjack dropped
You married your Vita?
Edit: oh…. I see, I’m not clever or unique. Just slow!
Man, now I miss my psp.
Cute story and such underrated console
Soy.
The quintessential soyface
Man, I loved the vita. The complete lack of support upset me terribly.
Up until Soul Sacrifice and Tearaway came out, it still felt like Sony was trying to support the thing somewhat. But right out of the gate they had a great launch window with games like Gravity Rush, Escape Plan, Uncharted: Golden Compass and Super Stardust Delta.
Dear lord lol
You really gotta make that face?
I never had a psvita. But I remember my limited edition white Darth Vader PSP. Couldn’t tell you how many hours I spent playing Star Wars battlefront on that little bastard
