Nice Birdā¦!!

Had a 68 Firebird convertible.
Sweet ride!
Sidebar: I find it interesting how far automotive powertrain tech has come in a half-century, give or take. Your car there had either a 350 that made 160hp or a 400 making 185hp. 20-ish years ago, there were 2-2.5 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinders making over 200hp. A little more recently there were NA V6ās making over 300hp and still grabbing 30+ mpg on the highway.
A kind of project Iāve long wanted to get into, is rebuilding the gorgeous performance cars of the 70s and 80s with modern drivetrains from the same manufacturers, to double (roughly) the original power, improve economy and reliability, and maintain that old school cool. Yāknow, Firebirds or El Caminos or Cobra IIs, getting 30 mpg and 300+ at the wheels. The dreamā¦
And you pulled exactly how many Rockford-esque J turns in it?
Alright alright alright!
