Step Up: Magic Mike
This looks really fun. I haven’t seen the other Magic Mike movies, but are they all this fun?
*Magic Mike 3: Someone Hangs Dong*
Yo, where the fuck are Big Dick Ricky and the boys?
Him going to London to put on a major musical is like Fast and the Furious going from DVD players to space
What a wild trilogy this ended up becoming.
**The domestic drug drama** (with stripping)
**The feel-good buddy-bonding road trip** (so much stripping)
**The romantic broadway comedy** (where stripping becomes stage show)
So, I guess the question becomes, which trilogy is *the definitive* Soderbergh trilogy? This, or the Ocean’s films?
(yes, I know that technically Soderbergh did not direct XXL. But he was there, he helped shoot and edit the thing…)
Every baby born 9 months after this gets released is legally required to be named Channing. Those are the rules.
We wanted *Jump Street 3*, dammit
Super underrated movies, especially XXL. This looks great and it’s Soderbergh so
Soderbergh has said this one will be a take on All That Jazz and the closest he’ll get to doing a musical. HYPE
Nah, I’m good
Producers knew the answer to “[how do we get straight men to watch this movie too?](https://pagesix.com/slideshow/salma-hayeks-sexiest-bikini-swimsuit-pictures/#8)”
I saw the first one, people seem to just write it off as a mom movie but it was actually a decent film. This looks decent, I never watched the 2nd, is it worth watching?
Sad that it looks like Joe Manganiello and Kevin Nash aren’t in this, but still very excited for it. XXL was one of the most fun movies of the past decade
Don’t see many romantic movies with a younger male and older female. Good to see Hollywood pushing it’s boundaries. I’m sure this will be fun.
And gee golly I wonder why Amber Heard didn’t come back? 😂
I really enjoyed the first two movies but it’s so very american puritan that a movie about male strippers doesn’t show dick.
Probably gonna watch it just to see Salma Hayek’s fine ass.
hoping Fluffy hooks up with Salma Hayek!
Mike: “You’ll never believe what I’ve been through. I was on a train in Japan where some dude gave me a bunch of money to wear his hat and glasses and then some British guy, who not going to lie was low key high key hot, threatened to kill me.”
Am I the only one who was disappointed by XXL and thought it was really hollow? (others in this thread seem to really like it)
I think the first movie is great and this one looks like it will be too! Fingers crossed it is.
It is quite funny that it’s about putting on a show in London considering Tatum is behind an actual “Magic Mike Live” show being performed at the Hippodrome Casino near Leicester Square (not the venue featured in the film).
I recognize a lot of the stage show choreography from the Magic Mike Live! Show in Vegas!
No fucking way! This is hilarious and amazing. I can’t believe they went for a trilogy.
Always in for Soderbergh
I swear this had literally just started filming.
I didn’t much care for the first two, but this makes it seem like 1. the other two didn’t much matter 2. it’s got a worthwhile story (or, at the very least, message) to tell.
This feels more like a Step Up spin-off than a Magic Mike sequel. There’s nothing that looks like the first 2 in this
Somehow even though it has way more topless men.. This feels way less horny than XXL.
They’re really invoking a comparison between Magic Mike and Jordan with that title and I love it.
50 Chans of Tum
Sooo then Step Up?
I really need McConaughey to show up one last time
It is kind of weird that they pulled Salma Hayek to replace Thandiwe Newton when the character being from England actually seems relevant to the plot
Soderbergh’s coming back for this one? Very cool.
Someone on Twitter called this Avengers Endgame for 40 year old women and all of a sudden it all makes sense.
¡LA VIUDA NEGRA!
Weird. Is this movie ripping off the dance from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Like, there is a darked out stage, it’s made to look like it’s raining, and they even have Kylie Shao (spelling?) who performed with Mac during that scene.
