This is beautiful. I got a tattoo when my mom passed 8 years ago. She always called me āBoo.ā I took the elegant picture frame from my 1-year pictures she had made at a department storeāher prized possessionāand brought it into the tattooistās studio. I had a Super Mario ghost (called Boo, for those unfamiliar) popping out of the same picture frame. I wanted something that I could avoid questions about if I didnāt feel strong enough to answer them. There are days where I get a āsweet tattooā in passing and I can simply say āthanksā if I donāt want to dwell on it, or I can go into detail like today, if Iām up for it.
Your mother was a wonderful artist. This is a lovely piece, congratulations.
