I’ve been recommended several clips of this show recently and every single last one was amazing. There was one where Daffy was speaking about something spooky and mysterious piano music played in the background….until we cut to Lola herself playing it/apologizing. That is quintessentially cartoony humor, and I really want to check this out finally.

Best case scenario it’ll be just like how late to the boat I was on Mystery Inc (From the exact same time as this aired) and it’ll become a new favorite. 😀

Kinda wish the studios did more of this type of stuff with their legacy properties. Now it seems like these characters (Looney Tunes, Muppets, Mickey Mouse, etc.) are made exclusively for preschool/young kid audiences.

Wish they made more of this show. Like someone else said, it was ahead of its time.

having not watched anything warner brothers in like 15 years….those voices are WAY off. Like …unsettling.

YOu know how people talk about the uncanny valley? Even at my age I am so used to Mel Blancs’ voice that those actors sound alien.

I want to specify too, they sound fine…they just dont sound “right”

This show was pretty great because they struck just the right tone with the Daffy Duck character.

Basically a PG-rated version of Master Shake. Then again, ever since the second iteration of Daffy Duck, he’s pretty much been the original Master Shake.

Daffy Duck was the only good part of this show.

Bugs Bunny as the all-serious, straight man was horrendous. He’s *the* trickster cartoon character and having him be a grumpy curmudgeon was awfully out of character.
