Why is this attitude towards gaming becoming more and more popular? Gaming is not a chore. If you don’t like the game, stop playing. Find something better.
It’s boring because you easily get destroyed and don’t have a chance to breathe, but then when you get good It’s boring because you easily slay everyone in your path and there us no element of surprise or adrenaline.
When we make games to sell, it’s not about the fun, it’s about the addiction. They’ll figure out how to get us to enjoy the sensation of being dragged over fields of broken glass eventually.
Cold War with its SBMM. Don’t get me wrong, I like SBMM, and it’s nice not demolishing constantly or getting demolished. But I hate having to focus and concentrate and “sweat” 24/7 to be able to have fun in it. I just wanna play casually.
