Is there a way to customize your controllers analog axis deadzones? Or does it depend on the Game, Controller brand, or Software? (I added a badly made image I made with Paint as an example of what I’m trying to do.)

When I make a left input in most games I get an Up input for some reason, and the controller is not the problem, This happens because of me and how I hold the controller, its 100% my fault, if I could just edit the Axis a bit on the analog or change the deadzone to make the left and right input areas Bigger, I think that would fix the problems I’m having. Is there any way to adjust this?
The steam controller can do some amazing things in settings…
You can customize the deadzone on an OS level in the windows setting menu on PC and you can do the same thing in steam but I think you’d have to accept just having a slightly larger dead zone overall rather then being able to angle it.
