Ooopsie Daisy!
What a sausage
They celebrated like they actually scored an amazing goal or something… geez.
Ddaaaaannngggg brother probably got fired uh.
It was a throw in, he could’ve pick up with his hands right?
Looking like a bleached Guy [Fieri] Fawkes will cost him more than a spot…
Why in the world would they throw it in and then kick it back toward their own goal in the first place? Just asking for trouble.
That’s a big celebration for doing absolutely nothing
Bettors hate Bologna the deli meats club lmao in the past month they’ve drawn with AC Milan and Juvie as heavy underdogs and now beat Inter at 8 to 1 odds, inter had not lost in its last 11 matches too
Now that I’ve watched Ted Lasso, I feel confident in saying that was bad.
chill on the “likely” bro. Im a huge ac milan fan but its two points with four to play, and milan, as much as they’ve improved, are not the most consistent bunch. to me this provides nothing more than a slight advantage in the title race. FiveThirtyEight has their chances at 52% now, for what that’s worth (hardly anything). don’t mean to be nitpicking, but for ten years ive known nothing but missed opportunities and tepid performances when it mattered most
I remember what happened to the last goalkeeper who did this in the champions league final. Cmon lol all he had to do was clear it.
Something is not on the up-and-up here.
Match fixing 🧐
That’s the sort of thing that happens in rigged games
Did he have to kick it because a sideline throw can’t be thrown in the net? Cuz otherwise isn’t it considered a dick move to tap in a goal that was already going in from a teammate? Serious question
Speaking as a keeper s much as I’m all for keepers being able to play out the back and remain composed under pressure, there are times when you just have to welly that bastard out of danger which many keepers seem to be forgetting when they attempt such a playing style
Scenes of Karius. He’ll need to move.
That hurt to watch so bad it knocked the wind out of me.
Is he the soccer equivalent of Bill Buckner?
As a Juve fan I really feel bad for this kid. Many sleepless nights ahead.
Check to see if their is money in his pockets 👀
Pazza Inter
Good guy Sansone tapping it in so it wouldn’t go down as an own goal to Radu
it baffles me that this can even happen at such a level. that and standing on the complete other side of the goal on a FK expecting the wall to just simply block the ball…those 2 things will all confuse me. stand in the middle of the net…
You can skip the first 60 seconds of this video…
If you slow it down you can picture the exact moment his heart ripped in half
I would never feel comfortable as a VERY amateur (read: novice) soccer player trying to kick a ball with the foot on the side the ball is coming from.
Especially if im kicking it in the direction the ball is already travelling…to the right.
Too much room for error as everything pretty much has to line up just right.
Yes it was an important goal but let’s be real here. Even if Inter draws, they would still be a point behind Milan. So it very likely won’t be this mistake that costs them the title, moreso Inter’s inability to score twice against Bologna
Do the yanks call Bologna ‘Baloney’?
He has made an absolute ham of that.
There is a very simple axiom when teaching defense in soccer, don’t clear across your own net! Classic blunder!
What an absolute bell end
Iunkin’ Ionuts
Inter just inted
This is why following the ball is fundamental.
It seems the goalie knicks it (and the striker bangs it in), but I’m curious if the ball goes in untouched off a throw in, does the goal count?
If that costs them the title, it would genuinely go down as a bonified, all-time sports fuckup. It’s worse than Ederson’s flub, which is really saying a lot.
“Likely to cost them the title” is a bit of an exaggeration. 4 matches to play, 2 point gap, and AC play the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th clubs in the table whereas Inter play 12th, 14th, 16th and 17th. Someone is/ both of them are going to drop points in there. This will come down to the final day most likely.
That man will receive death threats
Bolonga?????
That’s some bologna if you ask me
Probably got rattled by the crowd 100 feet behind him.
If i was an inter defender (not the one who took part in this terrible play) I would scream my head off at perisic for creating the possibility of this in the first place. You chose throwing it toward your second string keeper at the end of a game that still left you with the league title over throwing it to a (i can only assume) 50/50 situation upfield. Players at all levels can get tight why tempt fate like this when all it gets you is another 50/50 (after a successful keeper clearance) 20 yards further upfield? The potential added value is so slim and the danger is an own goal and leaving yourself 10 minutes to tie. Way too cute and so fucking stupid. As an AC fan though, fuck yea!
What a save!
What a save!
What a save!
Poor guy.
Send him to Russia.
Unrelated but what’s the last time Inter’s GK was someone other than Handanovic (apart from this game)?
This man is no Scott Sterling that’s for sure
