One thing i don’t understand about English pace attack to the tail is that why are they bowling bumpers when niether the bowlers they are giving to bowl those bumper have pace nor the ball is old since this is the 2nd new ball
Why can’t they just decipher it like this “will bumrah survive opening for india against anderson and broad’s first spell with new ball when they are hitting the lines” the answer is already no the greats of the game struggle to get through that period and boom is a tailender
Even tho i am an indian fan the strategizing has been baffling by england against our tail
I would have understood this strategy if they still had robbinson and mark wood in playing 11 since they both have pace
That’s pretty impressive! Congratulations Team India!
2 more months for the NFL boys. Hang in there
I was hoping this would be better. It was almost all just lucky edges
Edit: DEAR CRAZY INDIAN FANS THAT ARE DOWNVOTING ME, IM NOT HATING ON BUMRAH, JUST SAYING MOST THE RUNS WERE LUCKY AND NOT BIG HITTING
Spectacular performance at #10
Bumrah smashed a World Record of highest runs in a single over in Test Format {5 days Format} against the English Bowler Stuart Broad
Interestingly Stuart Broad also has the record of Highest runs in an over in T20 Format {120 balls each} in T20 World Cup held in 2007
He was smashed by Indian Batsman Yuvraj Singh for 36 runs in a single over{That’s 6 consecutive Home runs}

I am Cricket. Could someone explain me American?
People say baseball is confusing, then go watch cricket.
I’ve never understood why it looks like they pitch like they want to murder the poor guy.
I do not understand cricket but I think I love it.
I do know this: Fmodern baseball, f robot umps, f runners on 2nd base in OT, f starting pitchers being removed after 3 innings, f relief pitcher games
Has cricket been bastardized like baseball? If not, please bring cricket to USA, because baseball clearly was derived from cricket
Isn’t an over 6 throws? So if he scores 6 sixers, that’s 36 runs. How the heck did he score 35 runs when all 6 of the balls didn’t result in sixers?
The fact that Bumrah is a lower order batsman(meaning any decent international level bowler should be able to get him out) who scored this many runs is that much more satisfying.
With that being said, Yuvraj Singh scoring 36 off broad will always be more satisfying considering what happened just before this record was set.
For those who do not understand cricket, This is like a defender scoring 3 goals in 5 minutes(a record) against one of the best teams and defenders in the world.
Jasprit Bumrah is now the world record holder for most runs in an over during a test match. Wild
And one of the legal balls was close to, or possibly above waist height while being a full toss (it didn’t bounce) so there could’ve been another no-ball.
Braindead Broad strikes again. The bowling IQ of a wilted cabbage
Bumrahdman TM.
No habla espanol
He played a couple of good shots. The rest were all edges off the bat and some sloppy bowling. Bumrah shouldn’t be so cocky as he is.
I have no idea what is happening here
I love reading the comments. They reaffirm my complete ignorance of this sport. I have tried since reading the hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy but am no closer to comprehending the mystery that is cricket.
How did he smash Broad for 35 runs if he only made 31 not out?
Someone’s maths is off.
Add it up 31
So I assume over with no bounce is a 6, a bounce and over is a 4, but what about the last one? The “bunt”? Where he basically beat the dude to the other pins? I actually know what those are called but I forgot. But anyways that felt like the play of the game here tbh. Even though it was All clutch af
Haven’t watched cricket in a while, which bowl was a no ball?
Yuvraj started it…. Bumrah finished it.
So can you ever switch out throwers? Or was Broad bound to be dumped on?
I don’t understand Cricket at all.
I need Jomboy to break this down for me.
Broad need to say Thunder, Thunder, Thunder to the ball beforehand because it was th eonly way he would defeat Bumrah the ever batting.
What is going on
