At a certain point, did anyone feel like the mission impossible movies (numerous/entertaining as they are) have almost nothing to do with each other? They all are so different stylistically/tonally that I can’t tell the mission impossible apart from the mavericks or the [insert Tom Cruise present day setting movie here].
All hail our Scientology overlords.
The reckoning is that David Miscavige will have to stand trial and Cruise will have to find a new cult.

I’m sure this will be a great movie, but all posters have fuckin sucked. IMAX posters tend to be the best ones for most movies nowadays, even when regular posters are shit, but this is just… uninspired crap.
You can just see the chokehold Tom has on the marketing materials. They aren’t able to stray even a millimeter from the look & content of the film. Entire aesthetic is just “retouched film still”.
I know this is globally unpopular, but am I the only one who doesn’t get Tom Cruise?

I’m kind of over two part movies. It’s always disappointing when I have to wait years to watch part two and I’ve lost interest by then.
He could also use this as the cover for his piano jazz album, should ever decide to make one.
I still remember Dead Reckoning as the truck in The Living Dead.
I don’t think this movie can change my mind.
Now I want to watch Land of the Dead.
I always find it funny how IMAX makes their logo 3x bigger than whatever movie they’re showing.
