Elden Rings stats aren’t unintuitive at all
Yeah, but only in Morrowind will you get actual directions instead of quest markers, which eventually leads you to hopping between mountains and swimming around the whole damn island to find this goddamn refugee whose name you already forgot. Check and mate.
Both video games
Not gonna lie I’d love an elden ring game that’s more Rpg-based with a more perceivable story. I don’t mind subtlety and cryptic storylines but I’ve completed elden ring a couple of times now and I still don’t really know wtf it’s about 😅 But I know that’s the charm for a lot of people.
Tell me more about the big chuck of the land. Is that a boss I missed?
Elden Beast: Come Tarnished, friend or traitor, come. Come and look upon the Elden Ring.
I guess it’s time to start another morrowind playthrough
That anime maker is a genius because A: swamps! B: more swamps! C: he probably took everything he liked about other games, and made a DS from them, D: no quest markers, and E: did I mentioned swamps again?
If gold mask started dancing and singing dargoth wave I would have lost my shit.
Only one of those has good gameplay
He left out Cliff Racers?
Dark medieval fantasy game with vague lore#1023748927
How could Morrowind steal from Gothic?
Man i did a whole lot of nothing in morrowind lmaooo. My passion was breaking into city vaults.
Is there any must have mods for morrowind?
You… have a point
Love morrowind, my favorite elder scrolls by far.
Will say I quit my first playthrough was a disaster. Lost, shit build, and overwhelmed.
Would rather have that than the incredible ease at which I smoked every other Elden scrolls.
yeah but no one is gonna calls you the N word in Elden Ring
by N word I mean N’wah
Why in the fuck is this stupid thing almost 8000×10000 pixels?
Kinda agree with most of this but how is the stat system “super unintuitive” in ER? Like, every weapon and spell tells you exactly what stats you need to wield them and what they scale off of most. Even if they didn’t it shouldn’t be hard to figure out that big beefy weapons = strength, finesse type weapons= dex, magic = intelligence, and holy magic = faith. The only things that might be slightly unintuitive would be arcane, and what vigor/endurance do. But if you actually pay attention to what stats are changing as you level up those stats, it’s not hard to figure out.
But sir, copying Morrowind *is* genius.
For a lot of folks Morrowind with weighty, skillful combat and modern graphics is the dream game. Many of them didn’t want to bother putting together a mod package for Morrowind.
I…
I feel like this is more an argument for why Morrowind is actually awesome and we should all be playing that instead of Skyrim.
This has a point. It also is a reminder that Morrowind is the superior modern Elder Scrolls title in the single player realm.
Morrowind had the best stats system, thou…
What’s unintuitive about Morrowind’s stat system? It makes a lot of sense and is largely rooted in D&D, like many RPGs from that generation. It would only be confusing to people who play modern “RPGs” which basically have no stats at all.
I recently downloaded a few mods into Morrowind, the best being hits connect 100% of the time no missing point blank anymore and you walk way faster. Turned into one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played over night.
Morrowind is so much better
Would the “dog” in Morrowind be the mudcrab merchant?
We’re watching you…. SCUM.
So he ripped off Morrowind and sold like 15-20 million copies (and counting) of said knockoff. I’d say that’s genius.
Lol ok buddy
Reminds me of how stardew valley is just a 2d harvest moon a wonderful life clone tbh
“Anyone who plays Elden Ring has no friends or family.” I mean you’re not wrong but you didn’t have to say it to everyone.
The Elden souls 3: Morrowind
Even if it were, I’m not complaining lol
I find Morrowind more fun personally
and I need to play it again
Whatever happened to that Skywind mod that was getting worked in. I wanted to play that.
Imagine if Elden Ring had hit chance %
the genius is:
finger…but hole
dog! dog! dog!
Maybe Morrowind was the true stroke of genius
