No, you don’t
If I was deaf, I would totally get that tattoo.
Ah his left ear speaker is turned off. Thank goodness the microphone is still on.
I was born deaf in my left ear. I should totally do this.
i don’t get these tats. that symbol means the sound is not coming from speakers to the outside doesn’t it?
I just showed my hard-of-hearing octogenarian mother this and told her she should get her first tattoo. She laughed after I repeated myself twice loudly. 😉
Future world bio-medical enhancements should include temporary, selective, and voluntary-only muting of a person’s sense of hearing, smell, and/or sight plus, specifically, pain receptors and histamine response. (I was just wondering the other day if any of these had been incorporated into any sci-fi work yet.)
From noise exposure at work I lost hearing in one of my ears. So when i want to ignore them i just turn the right ear to them.
Great when taking naps i just lay on my left ear and sleep like a baby.
1. Insert noise cancelling earbuds.
2. Enjoy the silence.
3. Wonder why your wife is looking cross.
Similar problem and we have discussed having a tattoo on that side. My plan was going to be an outline of an ear with the red circle and slash.
Shouldn’t it be a mic because both mic and ear pic up sound where as speakers produce it?
This is easy, to activate mute you just need something long and thin, insert into ear canal until you meet resistance. The pain will let you know when it’s working.
My wife actually has this tattoo behind her deaf ear
I’m sure he wishes it worked too
It’s got a loose connection, but if you hit the button hard enough it mutes the speakers and the mic.
