I’m sure you know this already, but get a plastic or acrylic breathable lockbox box over the console like they have with displays.

I would keep the entire set in a perspex box. And that box in a safe, that safe in a vault, that vault in a closed room and that room in another, private building in the nicer end of town.
I read that as ‘teens library room’ and I thought if your teen has a library why couldn’t you afford a ps5. Glad I re read.

I feel like “public” consoles are dead. You need an account to sign into the console and an account for almost every game you play. The days of checking out a game at the counter, putting the disc in and playing are gone.
My wife got me this one for christmas! Gamestop forced her to but a year membership, but she blew my mind this year.

Like other comments said, take measures to ensure it’s not stolen or damaged. Maybe even get one of those store displays. As for digital vs physical either would have its uses for the console being in the library. I’d talk to your team about this as well.
