Yes, please!
The gestures would work so well in VR
I member.
Even a remake with additional islands, would be great.

Remember the “actor” immortal guy
This game was sick … I’ve played a lot when I was a teenager \w/
I had the special hand controller for this one!
The moral lesson of “if you are too nice your god won’t eat anything” has stuck with me forever
I wish it wasnt abandonware and you could actually get it on Steam or GoG. Same with the other older Lionhead Games. The Movies was a fun sim.
The concept is so amazingly simple. I can’t believe that a developer hasn’t just come out with something comparable.
I grew up quite poor and my parents never let me buy things, even with my own money that I collected from various gifts or wherever.
One day I decided to hell with the rule, and I took all my money and biked to the nearest game shop to pick out a new game. Black and White 2 stuck out to me, it seemed amazing and I was super excited to play it. Bought the game and snuck it back home… only to learn the hard lesson that day that games have system requirements and our shitty family computer couldn’t handle it.
I was too young and shy to return the game, so I just let it sit and collect dust. To this day still never did get to play a black and white game :(.
Fata Deum is set for a 2023 release, apparently.
I’d settle for them just making the games available again… Why are these games banished to the shadow realm?
Iirc, the problem is like one company owns the IP and the other company owns the publishing rights, and neither are willing to work together on it or sell to the other for an amount that they are willing to risk on a new game in the series.
Someone on YT did a great breakdown on it.
Deeeaaaaattthhhhhh
Sure, but let’s get someone new to develop it.
I wouldn’t trust Molyneux to deliver anything.
I tried installing it the other day on windows 11 and didn’t get very far. I’ve both the originals. It was a reason I badly wanted a PC when the first one was announced.
I LOVED THIS GAME. I killed so many hours just checking on my lion. It accidentally went evil once and I completely dropped the game for 2 years 😂
To this day I still do impressions of the villagers when they say, “ahh, food!”
B&W was amazing (moreso with B&W 2).
I too want a new one.
I spent WEEKS downloading a pirated copy of this game and it was totally worth it.
If they could combine this and the “from dust” mechanics I would never need another game
Does anyone remember this game occasionally whispering your name? And I thought they must have programmed this in based on what you put your name as.
Mine would occasionally whisper, “Steeeveennn.”
I swear I’m not crazy.
I got this in a 20$ strategy bundle that included Command and Conquer Generals, and lord of the rings. All three even included the expansions for them. I burned so much time on that aging machine. I want either a remake or a brand new one where it’s a continuous world where I don’t have to worry about getting rid of my armies when I’m done.
Disciple breeder.
Ooooh, we’ve got this notion
That we’d quite like to sail the ocean
So we’re building a big boat to leave here for good
🎶🎵Ooooh, we’ve got this notion
That we’d quite like to sail the ocean
So we’re building a big boat to leave here for good.🎵🎶
🎶🎵We’re not keen on sinking
So we’re all sitting here a thinking
‘Cause we built it too big and we’ve run out of wood.🎵🎶
🎶🎵eidle eidle eee🎵🎶

🎶🎵We simply can’t leave ’til we get some more wood.🎵🎶
