I saved up a ton of money to get myself my first console. I love this xbox a ton as it brought me into gaming. When it broke I was pretty upset but by then I had a pc. I tried fixing it but I didn’t want to pay for it as it was expensive and I had a PC. It sat in my room untouched for awile until I saw a shadow box at a yard sale. I took the xbox apart and make this with it.
I did this to an old gameboy that I didn’t feel like fixing.
Woah
Is that the Forza edition? A friend had it and I wanted it badly. The controllers especially
That’s a really cool idea.
At least it’s not in an e-waste pile I guess
What did you use to attach the parts to the shadow box base?
They still using that fucking x clip?
Where did you get the “frame” or shadowbox? I want to do this for all my daughters busted phones and devices as a way to harass her.
This would look great in a game room.
Noice
I did this with a couple of my old video cards. I first tried using museum putty, but that didn’t work. I used hot glue instead, and that worked pretty well for about a year, now one is falling apart.
What did you use?
thats awesome, maybe a plaque for time bought and time of death?
Cool
Sick! You monster! Pervert! Pornography!
I kid, of course. That’s a very cool idea.
Damn, I would love to do that to my 2006 x360 if I didn’t throw it out, as a reminder on how much times I reassembled it to reanimated it from RRoD. Only died in mid playtrough of GTA V when it came out
Today is the day of art. I saw similar installation cut of the PC parts. Nice nevertheless and very creative,
Nice. I think I’ll take my series X apart and do that!
Never expected to see a disc drive framed and displayed on a wall.
Nice.
I kind of admire Microsoft for how simple their board layouts were for the first few gens. Taking apart boards stacked on other boards on top of heat spreading plates (ps4 pro) is a pain just to get at the bluray drive.
I too am broken; can you turn me into wall art?
When are we going to stop pretending this is a new and original concept?
