Was it a corporate gig? My one and only paid gig was a company christmas party after three years fucking around in open mics.

Congrats! I’ve thought about doing what you did. Having listened to comedians talk about starting out, make sure you’re prepared for when you do suck. It’s going to happen and you just need to hammer through it and keep going. It’s about perseverance and hard work, just like everything else. Good Luck and I hope to see you around.
