Holy shit they’ve gotten good at making BattleBots. I had no idea this was even still going on.
These are SO much better than the ones I used to watch.
I’m guessing nobody is rocking up with flamethrowers and giant mallets anymore lmao. Do they all use some kind of spinning thing on the front now?

Has the ‘meta’ just evolved or were there some regulation changes?
As a kid it seemed like every bot was a derivative of the mythbusters like spinny wheels of death, and now they’re almost all these like forklift/prow chopper wheel formats.
Hubby and I watch this every week onDemand. When my kid was small, we watched it then too, and had a couple of old kits to build.
It’s fascinating to watch the improvements/incarnations change over the seasons.

Everything after Hypnodisk was children’s toys. That thing actually made damage.
I know they won, but I can’t believe someone designed HyperShock as a wide, flat bot without any method to right itself if it got flipped.
