The way your dog focuses on being with you can be scary. My wife says that she does not know how my dog will react if I am not there one day as the dog waits by the front gate without moving until I come home. I have an inkling of your loss.
So sorry. I just lost my Boxer. She was as loving as can be. Still miss her.
