Hey, everyone… So, I was getting ready to trade Pokémon between my own two 3DS. One is a New 3DS XL, and the other (as in the pic below) is a standard 2DS. I have not touched the baby since several years ago. As you’ll notice to the left in the pic, the rubber via joystick has ‘rotted’ off! Help?

    The plastic usually peels with time or extended use, you can replace it yourself for cheap or just leave it as is and you’ll be fine.

    Honestly, I’d probably just peel it the rest of the way off and keep using it. As long as it still works just fine, you’re not missing much.

    Get a new one and follow a youtube guide to open it up and replace it, usually a pretty simple job most people are capable of.
