God, I wish they’d stop putting famous people in their videos so we wouldn’t have to sit through 10 minutes of Mike randomly and needlessly defending the son of Innerspace from charges of nepotism.
WHO GIVES A FUCK?
Still shocked that they both liked Halloween Ends and hated/forgot some of these movies.
I hate all of their opinions. They’re really bad at forming them.
At least they admitted they just don’t like Rian Johnson’s style but I feel part of it is from their hatred of TLJ too given how cynical they are.
Love it when they like the movies I enjoyed

I was expecting to hear them go for a bit longer about Glass Onion. Glad to hear they liked The Menu and Triangle of Sadness. A little funny that all three movies came out so close together.
Hacks
Rian Johnson peaked with his first feature. Did someone ghostwrite Brick, or does he just dumb down his stuff for mass audiences now?
EDIT: Am I wrong? Brick is the best thing he’s written by far! I like his movies, but Glass Onion is a perfect example of what I’m talking about.
Lol at Mike not having seen Knives Out or Glass Onion
Wait that was the plot of Don’t Worry Darling?
lol
I’m glad they emphasized how much better White Lotus is then Glass Onion. The former felt like actual people in actual situations, the latter felt like a Twitter dork bonking me on the head with his opinions and message
Fuck you, it’s January
I didn’t like their take on “the menu” but whatever.
Reddit REALLY doesn’t like RLM, huh!
Lmao these Redditors really like Rian Johnson all of a sudden.
As soon as they started discussing “Don’t Worry Darling”, I knew Mike would feel obligated to bring up the TNG episode “The Game” because of the similar VR headset props.
Don’t worry Darling has potential to be an enjoyable “so bad, it’s good” film for me. The film is utter dogshit and a real contender for the worst of the decade already. It’s so incompetent that it genuinely made me laugh when I first saw it.
