At this point the only way to actually protest is having the winners trash the trophy and walk off. But that won’t happen. These small protests and armbands are just each country trying to save face. “Look, we aren’t that bad we got armbands on” they are still there and still participating in said event, they support everything

I understand reddit is American but that is next level clueless to expect players not to participate in THE world cup. This is the be-all end-all cup, it is of upmost importance for them to play.
