“Where could I be?”🤷♂️
“The Greatest American George”
I love the fact that Alexander originally sang this and Larry David said that while Alexander was a singer, Costanza was not, and to sing it again but badly.
I sing this shit all the time.
Larry totally did this.
The older I get the more I relate to this.

I knew a guy in college names Jorge. He used this sound bit for his voicemail. Cool guy.
Just realized that I’ve whistled this tune on and off for at least 10 years. I recognize it when I think about it, but a lot of the time I don’t think about where it comes from. Saw thr title of the post and immediately whistled the tune, haha
For those not up on their early 80s TV shows, the tune is from
Just watched this a couple days ago and it’s still stuck in my head lol
I love this. I made it my answering machine at University and got a message from my Nanna.
“George? Tucka, who’s George? Are you having boys in your room?”
There are very few things in life that can make me laugh as hard as seeing it the first time.
THIS is one of those moments.
Is that red phone wireless? I see no cord.
why is he eating the popcorn like a meth head on red bull?
I don’t think enough people appreciate how well Jason Alexander can sing. He didn’t get many chances on Seinfeld, but that only made this episode more special. I used to watch this show with my mom all the time. When we first saw this episode, we laughed so hard my mom fell out of her seat. Good times. 😊
George was definitely the best character on the show!
Never realised how nasty he eats popcorn in this scene though.
Funny story about that scene.
I thought it’d be a great idea to set my VM to the same jingle (but with name).
I later took a trophy to a trophy shop to get engraved. The guy called me back to let me know it was done, but I didn’t answer the call, so he got the voicemail ….
He hated the jingle so much, he threatened to throw the trophy in the garbage.
Top notch customer service 🙂
What is the main facts?
