I accidentally discovered this band after Siri failed to respond appropriately to the query “Play Djent music on Spotify.”
…decided to let the song ride and was pleasantly surprised!
I LOVE these guys. Very underrated. Personal favorites are Circles and Human Connection, pt 2.
Wow. Thanks for the post. Never heard of these gents before
This is awesome!!! Thanks for turning me on to it!
needs a fucking seizure warning on the video!
That whole Copenhagen underground scene they’re associated with is full of quality stuff if you ever wanna venture down that rabbit hole (Lust for Youth, First Hate, etc.). My fav Gents song by far though is Part Time Lover. The bit from 2:40 on is pure transcendence.
Loving these guys! Saw them in Amsterdam a while before corona in a very small setting and it was great. They work great after smoking a bit of weed. They’re also great when listening during a shower, as their music really echoes greatly off bathroom walls hahaha.
That being said, I was less of a fan of their latest album. Felt like they were taking themselves a bit too seriously and getting quasi-philosophical over things that weren’t *that* sick. Frankly I just want dramatic synth pop about missing being a kid or how love equals sadness. Which is what they excel at.
