Colony wars, and its sequel, from the Playstation cause it doesn’t get enough love.
Gta4 but really all they got to do is make the driving mechanics match gta5’s.
This game wowed me with its graphic when it 1st came out, however the spooky atmosphere in these games still hold up to me personally. Good shout.
I never played the first. I think I played the second. Does the first hold up well? I noticed it’s on Xbox store playable on series x

Black Lake Lodge in two was wild. But Bart’s Department Store in one will forever be the most frightening thing in these games for me.

That Bear stalking you in Condemned 2 I will never forget
Legacy Of Kain: Blood Omen as a horror/vampire top down Zelda game. It was pretty much that as is but it controls like ass.
Will never forget that body falling down the escalator and landing upside down over the barricade with “GET OUT” carved into its torso at the beginning of the abandoned department store level.

Anyone here who has played the multiplayer mode “Bum Rush” in Condemned 2 bloodshot?
I think a game like Nightmare Creatures would make a very good modern game. You can see a lot of its influence in stuff like Bloodborne. The framework is there and the style/story is there with the potential to make something really special.
Jak 2 would make a killer remake/remaster. Unlike Nightmare Creatures (which isn’t bad per se), Jak 2 is very good as is. Yet, I can totally see a FF 7/RE2 remake treatment being done to it. Grab something that is already good, but built something fresh with it.
There was something that bugged me about the gameplay. From what I remember, if you don’t beat certain enemies with a particular combo, they can’t be defeated. Killed the immersion for me, no matter how many times you hit them they won’t go down unless you hit the combo. Great atmosphere though.
I have a really strong memory of both of those pieces of cover art and absolutely no memory of the games

Condemned 2 was fucked. I played the demo and found it so creepy and gross i could not play the rest. The unreliable narrator thing and the weird black stuff on the ground kinda screwed me up. Anyone want to describe any other weird stuff from this game?
Both of these games were genuinely scary. I do own them but my 360 games are packed away and I don’t have a PS3 setup, so I wouldn’t mind a remaster.
I could see a reboot kr spiritual sucessor working. The last couplw of missions in Condemned 2 were relatively weak.

The department store in the first game scared me more than any other media I experienced growing up.

I played the first game. I remember liking it, but I can’t remember anything about it outside of beating people with pipes. I don’t know if that’s good or bad though. But, with that being said, if I could a get a remaster or a remake, Sony, please give me a remake of The Legend of Dragoon! 🙏
O vaguely remember the first one, I think there was a scene with an empty swimming pool, but I might be thinking of another game. I have the second one on PS3 but haven’t played it yet.

Underrated series. The shopping mall mission was insane, with the manikins.
Playing this late. Alone. With the sound system on. Hearing the footsteps overhead in the abandoned buildings. That is my memory of this game. Actual fear

Everybody’s talking about the mannequin store, but the biggest jumpscare in the first game (at least for me) was in the school, when you take a picture of a dead corpse in a locker, only for him to wake up and grab your arm… holy shit I screamed so hard I woke up my whole house lol
