3u is your favorite over rise and GU interesting. Why if i may ask?
Personally for mh i like risebreak and GU the most by a fair margin due the the great build diversity and fun challenges as well as rise being the first game i enjoyed gimmick monsters since the fight was still mostly a fight. Not to mention how much freedom spiribirds and follower quests added tp risebreak and how cool hunting arts/styles were.
3U is probably my next favorite for its diverse monster roster with tons of my quirky favorites like duranduram or gobul, along with the only seige battles i didnt mind in the mohrens.
After that id put 4u for its fun weapon expansions.
Then worldborne.. though mostly only for the cool cinematic experiance/visuals it had and the potential it represents, was probably the worst feeling mh to actually play for me, mostly due to my exceptionallly shit deco luck, its very narrow balance philosophy and the worst designed seige monsters. (Original kulve farming is one of the least fun things ive done in the entire series)
I remember playing one of the first monster hunter games that came out a long time a go (and it plays quite a bit differntly than today)

I downloaded a recent demo of a monster hunter game, and you got to pick a character with a weapon type, and went into the environment to kill the monster.

It was difficult to get a good sense of the game, because from what i played in the demo seemed very underwhelming.

I feel like i am missing a lot, but since you appear to be a monster hunter expect. What do you like about the game? and what is the gameplay like?
i’m so upset that i fucking can’t stand monster hunter. my entire life it’s seemed like a game i would love and play until i had no hair. but now that i have access to the game, every time i try to play it the beginning of the game absolutely ruins any chance i had of enjoying it
Hollowknight was such a miss for me. Everything about the game was amazing don’t get me wrong. The music, the animations, the backgrounds, the character design, I could go on. But dude! The exploration is so horribly awful! So much backtracking and re-fighting the same enemies to go to “That ONE new place” as soon as you get one new item that allows for it. I could not bring myself to finish the game because of that.
Your taste is so similar to mine that it actually convinced me to try out some of the games on your list I haven’t played (Celeste, Punch-Out, and Omori).

Do you happen to like Monster Hunter perchance?
You don’t got Mortal Kombat you are wrong.
Man, so stoked to see monster hunter up there so much. Those games are the fucken best
Only SIX souls games? A real gamer would have Demon’s Souls both original and remake on there!
Good taste, love gen 3 and 4 of MH
Solid list… I wish everyone would post one of these.
Bloodborne made the list so i will allow it and won’t question the Ranking
😬
We match with 7 out of 30.
You are 26 years old.
Am I close?
Based Pikmin fan
Even though its last place, I’m still glad you included Alien: Isolation. I would love to see this game get a PSVR2 port.
But Witcher 3 ….. ?
You’re wrong for putting so many games I don’t like on your personal top 30 list.
Good list!
I love FromSoft and have finished all their games except Sekiro, fuck that’s a difficult game.
With Hollow Knight in the top 5 I’m very surprised to not see Super Metroid, Metroid Prime & Ori and the Blind Forest on your list.
Also Ocarina of time doesn’t even make the top 30?
Man, I should really pick up Omori.
Dark souls 2 over dark souls 3 is craaaaaazy
Pls to all of you, make more lists like this
MGS 1-30

You are a big game hunter gamer.
>Ranking their top 30 game of all time
>Look inside
>No Isaac
Not the worst list I’ve seen!
MH3U on top is unbelievably based
Omori hit me out of nowhere. Really good.
Hi friend
A fellow hunter 🗿
All the pikmin games being on here is kinda based
all 4 pikmins
We have a lot of overlap in games we like

If you like FromSoft games you should check out Remnant from the Ashes if you haven’t already. Both are exceptionally great games
You definitely have a type
All the Pikims and no Untitled Goose Game? Flawed list.
Majoras Mask followed by Elden Ring is such a whiplash. (Because I love Majoras Mask and despise Elden Ring.)
i’m so upset that i fucking can’t stand monster hunter. my entire life it’s seemed like a game i would love and play until i had no hair. but now that i have access to the game, every time i try to play it the beginning of the game absolutely ruins any chance i had of enjoying it

I would have typed path of exile 30 times.
your list is different from my list because you like different games than i like.
we are now mortal enemies
You forgot gollum
Man, MM being 2nd and OoT not making the list is a bit weird to me. To each their own though!
All 4 Pikmin games being here is incredibly based.
This guy pikmins
You get my upvote purely on the ground of having a wider variety than most of the people who make these posts.
Ahhhh, a fellow hunter! And an enjoyer of the classic mh games. Nice!
“I see a lot of time spent playing Monster Hunter.
Jesus, that’s a lot of time playing Monster Hunter.”
This man really said yes the monster hunter with swimming was the best
