Nice. Can’t wait until this is used in a good game.
People still play fort? 😂🤦♂️
Looks really good. I’d like to see it in a video. Some people vastly underestimate how strongly proper lighting transforms a setting.
I would genuinely love to see this on something like red dead 2 or uncharted
Wow, the lighting looks amazing! This could be just a personal opinion but the image with the snow has more color on the left. I’m not a pro at lighting or anything but more color just pops to me. Maybe I’m wrong. Never played this game but the graphics looks great in these screenshots.
They unvaulted Nanites? Fuck yeah, I loved those! /j
the light bounce looks real nice
don’t mistake support with use
Looks eerily similar to the visuals for the new Mario movie ngl
Was playing it last night on a 3090 ti with everything turned up. It’s insane.
It looks really nice, but too bad performance absolutely tanks when I turn this stuff on on a 9900k/3080/16gb RAM setup. Becomes a stuttery mess and has a hard time even going over 100fps. Nobody wants to deal with that disadvantage on a multiplayer game.
Bounce lighting
*bites lip
Yeah, get me that bounce lighting.
GI is my jam.
Very good.
Nanite ? Lumen ?
So… Will it still stutter ?
Dangggg gonna have to download and try Fortnite for the first time, aren’t I? This looks good and that Chapter 4 trailer had me hyped and I don’t even play it. I also listen to *Get Played* and Heather Anne Campbell has been selling me very hard on it.
Diving in for the first time in 2022, what am I in for people? A good time? An annoying confusing time? Down for any POVs whatsoever.
How do I use these settings? I have an Xbox series X. Also do I need a really good tv or does that not matter?
wah wah fortnite bad, i think i come to the right side of reddit.
How did they put their game on UE5? Is it that easy to update from previous Unreal engine to the newest version?
looks very good. similar to a fully ray traced gi, but much more performant. nanite is also incredible. I see no lods or pop in on epic view distance other than some individual models being called in from a super far distance
Mass Effect trilogy on UE5, oh man
I used to play fortnite back in 2020 and its unreal seeing how this game has changed.
You are telling me those are pictures from a video game and not a Hollywood movie…
This looks amazing. My only concern is how does this impact the performance?
Right looks more real.but left.looks better to play in
I’ve never played Fortnite. But i would make a download to see the new visuals
WHAT IS GOING ON SINCE WHEN FORTNITE LOOKS SO GOOD
So that’s why this season looks absolutely fantastic
Dude, even though it’s fortnite, it looks stunning. Imagine the possibilities
This game has funded and been the testing ground for most of the industry leading advancements that have shaped modern gaming and film making. Absolutely brilliant work
They turned fortnite into Disney’s frozen
Say what you will about the game. I gave this a shot yesterday and these features make it genuinely beautiful. The tech is really impressive.
What is nanite and lumen support?
I’m sure all the kids playing totally appreciate the difference.
Epic did develop the unreal engines so it only makes sense.
Just looks like overcast in the early morning vs sunny in midday. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
If only the game was good…
But why? Fortnight has always looked stupidly cartoonist. Why would you do this to THAT game? How about grand theft auto or something meant to look realistic?
I can’t say I imagined Fortnite to be still around or this big when it first came out and me and my buddies played it when it was a fort building zombie defense game.
Can’t wait to see this on a game I’ll actually play
Epic Games’ game using Epic Games’ engine takes advantage of Epic Games’ latest features.
No way that’s fortnite, no way
Looks like my Fortnite addiction won’t be going away anytime soon.
