I have, absolutely 0 idea how cricket even begins to function, but that was a *hell of a* catch.
Fielding in cricket makes me believe cricket isn’t declining. It’s consistently gotten so much better over the years. The simplest of catches from today would’ve been top tier back in the day.
Imagine the kind of catches you’d have with a big leather basket between your thumb and forefinger. Just make your hand have four times as much area, why not? Oh, and some padding in the palm for your delicate hands.
I can tell y’all enjoy beans on toast if this is exciting.
Not even the best cricket catch I’ve seen this week. The one with the girl that threw it back to herself and caught it again inbounds was a better play.
