This looks really good, can’t wait to watch this.
The concept for this movie reminds me of the 2013 webcomic [“The Moth and Flame” by Jenny Clements.](https://m.tapas.io/episode/199559) It’s super adorable and sweet to read, I’m suprised this comic hadn’t been adapted into an animated short yet. Please give the comic a read to brighten up your day because I seriously love it so much!
>The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, and featuring the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively, “Elemental” releases on June 16, 2023.
Ember is going to become Pixar’s version of Nicole Watterson in the coming months. *cough* Rule 34 *cough*
“Element City.”
This is the level of creativity we’re working with…
Incredible teaser.
I’m scared of the real trailer because I think it’ll have too many “trailer-isms”.
Teasers can be so much more and I’ve been loving that recently.
Ah yes, a *heat*-cute.
The train schedule is designed like a period table! I love Pixar’s little details.
Fish out of water . Opposites attract. Wet puns . Hot puns. ETC,ETC.
I guess this is pixar last chance to be a hit or just make Disney plus show for rest of there life.
Not getting me super excited for the movie, but I do like the style of the teaser.
Looks like a Netflix movie.
The song is Hell N Back by Bakar for anyone curious
Is it just me, or does the animation look kinda bad?
It’s seems like all the texture work is low res and there is a real lack of shadows anywhere, which makes everything feel very floaty.
I see a lot of fluid sims and stuff which I know is demanding to render, but it kinda looks like this teaser was made in unreal engine to me. Something just doesn’t feel right, and I think it’s the fact that there aren’t enough shadows
What a calm trailer. A Lo-fi movie to study to.
I know it’s not wise to get too excited for a movie based on just a teaser…
…but my god, this looks like another Pixar great.
So, is that boat/subway they are on, driving on flesh?
They’ve done it again. “What if elements had feelings”
She got them Pixar Hips.
Reminds me of Zootopia!
So to add to that list….Elements have emotions.
This is amazing
Animated movies have better more interesting concepts and plots than live action movies. And animation movies are targeted towards kids.
Steam kids ?
I’ll admit I was on the fence if this was gonna be a love story or not or if Ember and Wade were just gonna be friends.
.. Then they did the “two future lovers nearly pick up the same object thing” and it became very obvious this was a love story lmao. But it looks really good! Pixar still proves they’re the king of CGI.
The internal consistency of this world seems difficult. I’m curious how it’s pulled off.
Nice teaser. Good look at the world that the story takes place in.
I’m really not feeling Pixar’s “colourful blob people” phase. It feels like it’s getting stale.
This film looks amazing and I can’t wait to see this film in theaters on June 16th 2023 and this is my most anticipated film of 2023.
The character design just isn’t hitting with me myself, some of the background characters look like spore characters.
