Incredible improvement, though as someone who is completely shit at drawing, even his day 1 effort looks decent to me.
Oh sure, practicing something and working hard, consistently over a period of time….that’s *cheating*
That dude was buggin with those day 1 drawings lmao
This is the same guy who did the one punch challenge!
Talented narration and editing.
Lots of artistic skills can actually be learned: penmanship, drawing, painting, playing various instruments, dancing, and even singing. Having natural talent or an aptitude helps but these things can be learned. I shocked all my friends and family when I started taking salsa dance lessons. After three months of weekly lessons, I got surprisingly good.
Looking at day 1 he went from good at drawing to better at drawing.
Something that i still remember from university 14years ago is “Hairy Line Syndrome”.
You can see it in his Day 50 drawings [4:37](https://youtu.be/eJjtfEcgtRo?t=277). Its where people draw with scratchy lines going back and forth with small lines and in kind of a jerky motion.
You dont want to do this. It is bad.
You want clean consistent strokes and outlines of your shapes. Dont repeatedly go over lines, you end up with “Hairy” lines. We once spent and entire day just drawing straight lines to get it right.
Not surprising that practice and learning technique made him better. But god damn, that is an insane amount of progress over 100 days. Even the gap between the first few weeks was pretty impressive.
One giiiiiiaaaanttt Skillshare ad.
Too many metaphors and crap
He says hrs bad at drawing, but he’s already significantly better than me at day 1.
Talent = time + dedication
Nice one
how did he keep the fruit from rotting?
This is an ad.
nice ad
I do art.
I can assure you, most of you can be taught to improve just as much in 100 days.
His end result is decent.
I was impressed by his figure drawings.
Didn’t see any construction, something all new artists should learn, it’s one of the most important fundamentals. If he had learned about construction, the portrait he draws towards the end wouldn’t have looked so janky.
Fuck this video. It’s just an ad, it seems.
From the thumbnail I can recognize at LEAST five of the fruits without even starting the video.
How is that “sucking” from day one?
Well, hummph. It’s not like I had anything to do for the next three months. Oh well…
(bookmarks video)
Meh
Oh, it’s just a long form ad for skill share.
His 100 one punch man workout motivated the hell out of me.
this is an advertisement, you guys can see that right?
Cool. Now that you learned how to draw, what you’re gonna do with that skill?
