I remember this game but I can’t for the life of me remember it’s name. As others mentioned, it was a NES game. You could pick any of the characters in the screenshot to play and they all had pros and cons. I remember you could even pick the sheep and play as the sheep, but it transformed into a little monster so enemy monsters wouldn’t hurt it.

This was a fun game that at like 10 years old I had NO IDEA how to beat it or make any progress at all. Didn’t stop me from cluelessly playing it over and over though.
