This comment is not saying anything about the skills & passion of Dan Harmon, because I don’t know much about him or Community… but that’s exactly what the writers of La Brea said because of the Pandemic. xD
I had a feeling it would work out this way. The writing was always perfectionist.
If it’s the same quality of his later seasons then I’m out.
Except you weren’t supposed to be writing while you were striking.
So wait… If the script needed more time, but they were going to shoot it anyway (before the strikes), isn’t he admitting that Hollywood doesn’t give a shit about quality, only about money? Wouldn’t you make sure the script was good ***before*** having it green-lit?

Real blessing for those that were forced to dip into their savings…
I hope the movie opens with Greendale having been shutdown during the pandemic and turned into a paintball field. Then they can build back up from there without being beholden to having to do a paintball sequence.

As an avid Community fan I don’t need a series of its not in the cards. I’m excited to rejoin old friends for a movie, and I always have the show to go back to. If a new series were to happen I would be happy, if it doesn’t happen I’m still happy. Don’t overwork yourselves.
He’s much different looking than I imagined
A lot of the best episodes are when they are based on established tropes of film and TV. Hopefully there are some new tropes that came into existence after the show ended that they will play with. That way we’ll get something familiar but different. Regardless, I can’t wait.
