As I was driving through the Dolomites, I saw this beautiful little chapel. They weren’t that easy to photograph from the ground, so I launched my new drone and photographed from the air. 🙂

The feeling you get when you’re in the mountains is so hard to capture- this one totally does it in my opinion. Love the composition – the church really gives an awesome sense of scale. Did you do any colour correction, or is this right off the card?
For anyone wondering, the photo is taken from “grödner joch” with the “langkofel, 3181m” in the backdrop. Located in italy, south tirol. The dolomites became a UNESCO world heritage site in 2009. Rightfully so! It’s a place of magic and myth and as beautiful in the summer as it is in the winter.

Lovely shot and beautiful lighting.

Awesome photo! Could you maybe tell me the exact location, like on google maps? I’m saving places like this in my “to visit” list 😊

The church messes up the lanscape
Lonely but closer to God
Reminds me of that one church in Elden Ring right before you enter caelid
