I just got my first ever shiny after 300+ hours in a bunch of different Pokémon games. It was a bidoof. More specifically the very first one you see in the game in arceas.
I feel ya. I have caught a couple Shinies before (Audino and Rattata and maybe Spearow at one point) but never really as an adult. And then one of my very first encounters in Let’s Go Pikachu was a shiny Weedle. From that moment I knew that this blue eyed green hellwasp was going to be my true partner.
And, in glorious fashion, he was indeed the Pokemon that accompanied us to our final showdown with Mewtwo. The battle between shiny Mega Beedrill and Mewtwo was one for the ages.
