Seriously though due to the way some of these gpu recognizers are programmed i heard if the starting number it reads is lower then it says its too bad to play and wont let you. Cant recall the nane of the game atm but its like it saying a high end gpu is too low as its numbering is velow a 100
Make sure your Soundblaster card is outputted to your stereo amp, get your extended/expanded memory settings straight, check for IRQ conflicts, confirm Autoexec.bat is clean, and you should be able to run Excel without any hiccups. Unless it is 3DFX. Then you are screwed (see Thief: The Dark Project).
**NO** – if you are trying to run these games on the native versions of the operating system these were designed for (not an emulation\VM of these operating systems) then you wouldn’t have support for PCIe which would be required for for that GPU to run. Also driver issues as well as BIOS (not modern UEFI) would also create problems getting that hardware to to be detected.
You’re missing the ms-dos 6.22 disks.
Wait for the RTX 9040 Ti Super Ultra release.
A GTX or RTX 0.090 would be overkill. Step down to a 0.070 Ti
You need a GT 210 for optimal high framerate performance.
Probably going to need to upgrade to a 5090 Ti for those
If you keep setting on low/medium and cap the frame rate at 25 you should be fine.
I’d wait a little longer to fire them up as they are going to look *sweet* with the new DLSS 3.5.
Ah, I see you’re a true gamer, breaking out Excel to play the secret plane game.
With a 5090 ti using DLSS 4 you should get a solid 30fps.
Dual 4090 if you want at least 30 fps.
Too strong upgrade your pc

CPU is going to be the main limiting factor with these monsters iirc
You need to upgrade your floppy drive, or rather add it 🙂
Yeah excel disk 4 of like 30. GL bruh
Doom…meh
Mortal Kombat….meh x 2
Wolfenstein…..that’s a ripoff from that wolfenstein game released in 2014.
Ooooh, excel!
Depends…how good are you at autoexec.bat and config.sys modding?
Neither, better off going for the Diamond SpeedStar ET4000AX ISA
Use pregnancy test to run doom.
No, a GPU can’t run any of these on its own 😉
“Do not cite the deep magic to me, witch. I was there when it was written.”
DOS=HIGH
But can it run Crysis?
That front one has Microsoft on it, so I doubt its even optimised. I’d get the 4090 just to be safe
lord jesus. when microsoft programs were its own floppy disk
Let Bethesda have a crack at “optimizing” these and a 4090 will barely run any of them at low settings.
Neat, you 3D printed some save icons
Dont run on ultra.
Yes
The 4090 should come but for the love of God make sure your on a decent SSD.. your streaming huge amounts of data. Your lows will be unplayable

Bro. Those belong in a museum 😂😂👍
But really though they DO have floppy discs displayed in some museums. I love them i wish id still kept some of mine from the olden days
I fuckin love disk 4. Highly recommended.
I think you might need 2x 4090
Might get a few fame rate issues on the larger spreadsheets, but otherwise you should be good to go.
Wait for 5090ti OC water-cooled edition… just to be safe
Ahh the good ol’ days…
You’ll need a 4090 if you want a solid 30 FPS in Commander Keen or Halloween Harry/Alien Carnage.
…Dopefish lives!
That image is the definion of gaming…
Oh.. fun
Oh.. fun!
Oh… More fun!
Oh.. This is great!
FUCK.. back to work.
My memory might be blury but i think i got wolfenstein on 2 floppys, how did u manage to get it on 1? 🙂
More than likely you will have to downgrade or just use an emulator.
You’ll need the 60100 for these bad boys.
With how unoptimized some of the new AAA titles coming out are, it feels like these might be the only games my 3070 can handle.
Maybe you need the 1080FD with the floppy disk reader.
You need a disc reader first xD

As long as you press the turbo button.
these probably run faster on the DSP (sound processor) within a smartphone than they did on their original hardware.
