I thought this was r/idiotsincars for a minute. Could’ve been so easily, probably should be too.
Kinda cool I guess, but I’ve done this in my driveway tons of times.
Going 180 mph over the recommended speed is irresponsible.
Could have cut a steel cable with my butthole while i watched that.
Am I the only one that thinks this looks like a last gen video game? Like GT Sport or something…
phhhhh that doesn’t seem so fast…..oh
I’ve maxed out at 298kph on the A5 back towards Frankfurt at about 3 AM and that felt like tunnelvision. I cannot IMAGINE another 100 klicks/hour on top of that.
I am sure this guy is a very good driver, but I wonder whether or not the passenger in this case has something like a pair of binoculars to essentially see cars up ahead or if visual cues on upstream traffic is good enough.
As I understand it, they Veyron should have insane breaking, but how far ahead should they have to know to safely stop and prevent a bad situation (Lets take for example if there was a car accident up ahead of them).
Anyone have details on this type of knowledge?
changing lines without indicating
1) They had spotters on the bridges
2) They specifically did this drive very early in the day to avoid the bulk of traffic
3) The vehicle they’re driving has a literal airbrake on it, it’s built for these speeds (watch how well it handles, where your average sports car is just going to fly off the road at these speeds)
4) They pre-drove the road beforehand to check for any hazards, and there are wildlife barriers
5) The German courts already reviewed this and said it was fine.
Heading up blind hills, riding in the middle of the lanes. Yeah it’s cool to watch but could have ended in disaster. You’re in Germany, go to the Nürburgring if you want to do stupid shit like this.
What a fucking twat. If you can afford a $1M+ car you can afford to take it to a track meant for speeds like this rather than doing it on public roads regardless of the speed limit on those roads.
Thank god he had a fire suit on though. Safety first.
How fast was that in american
“They said slow down, I see spots, the lines on the road just look like dots.”
With over 400kph on a public road this kind of belongs into r/IdiotsInCars
I was surprised at how close the GPS reading was compared to the indicated speed on the gauge. On a normal vehicle, it is usually a few mph off even at 60mph and it just gets worse as you increase speeds. At 200mph GPS, you’d probably be showing 240mph on your speedo…again in a normal car example….if a normal car can go 200mph. 🙂
I do consider supercars and high end sports cars to be “normal” compared to a Chiron btw. GPS vs. Speedo is usually not this close.
This is the fastest I have ever traveled on the internet, or in real life.
post this on r/ForzaHorizon, and see if anyone thinks its the game, hehe
Thats one amazing car.
And turbo busa’s everywhere are like, eh I can do that for like 30-70k

What blows me away is how hard it accelerates even from 200km/h. Those are *not* lightweight cars.
Crazy how many vehicles were in the right lane not moving at all.
Good thing they had seatbelts on.
Look at all the cars using the appropriate lane.
buen juego
Chiron brake test.
That had to burn like a tank of gas.
Imagine driving to work at a leisurely 60mph when someone passes you going 200mph faster than you are…
They should of also showed the gas meter. Im sure you could see it moving.
This dude looks exactly like how you’d think a Bugatti owner would look.
And when someone is in his lane doing only 100 mph, he’ll have a massive accident that kills multiple people.
those roads are immaculate.. try that in US highway , you will end up hitting a bump and killing your self.
they are clapping because they are still alive lol
Reddit: why do people buy these cars, they don’t even use them properly and they just sit in a garage.
Someone uses the car properly
Reddit: How dare they use the car this way completely legally.
Amazing what 3 million dollars usd will get ya.. 8 million for Bugattis most expencive car …
I was convinced this was Gran Turismo or something at the start of the video. I even thought the graphics weren’t that great, must be an earlier version.
now im with spongebob, racing down the autobahn, trying to fuck megatron
He still was investigated by German authorities for endangering road traffic spite of the infamous unlimited speed on Autobahn.
He wasn’t charged.

I’d be having the passenger with a set of binoculars.
And. the gas tank is empty.
If you haven’t been driving on the autobahn, I highly recommend it if you’re ever in Germany. It’s very very interesting.
Driving etiquette is impeccable, and it’s incredibly humbling when you’re cruising at what you feel is warp speed in your hire car, and you **still** get passed by a german family of 5 in a mercedes station wagon.
Not the place for these speeds, autobahn or not. Closed road or runway only.
