Fun fact: The one responsible for this is Jim Reardon, who later directed and storyboarded for *The Simpsons* and co-wrote *WALL-E, Wreck-it Ralph, and Zootopia.*

There used to be a store in Fort Worth called Leonards that become a Dillards. They had a small little theater that seated maybe 6 kids where kids could spend time while their parents shopped. I watched many very old cartoons in that thing back in the 1960’s that this cartoon has done a really outstanding job of copying the style of.
Thanks, OP.
I can’t believe I haven’t seen this before
It’s the Great Dolomite Charlie Brown
I have been looking for one like this. The son is sick, he has a condition , he’s…badly animated
I’m guessing that this was made in the late 70’s, based on several references towards the end:
* Robert de Niro’s mowhawk from Taxi Driver (1976)
* Richard Simmons reference (1979)
* Rocky Balboa reference (1976)
* the cartoon version of Godzilla (1978)
Thank you for sharing this
