[Bleacher Report] At 41 years old, Sue Bird has officially called it a career. One of the game’s best point guards of all time. 4x WNBA champion. 13x All-Star. 5x Olympic gold medalist. 2x NCAA champion. 5x Euroleague champion. Absolute legend.

fun fact…she made a little over $1 million dollars over her Hall of Fame career. That’s somewhere around what the second to last player in the NBA draft will make this year alone…
Who?
WHO?
Oh no!
Anyway….
Absolute legend
Hmm, interesting. Too bad the WNBA is one of the most boring leagues period, because she sounds like she was a fantastic athlete to watch.
But I have to be honest, it’s super difficult for me to have any interest in that league when most of the players can’t even seem to do a layup, or at least, do it even slightly consistently.
what a legend. i’m glad i got to watch her play for so long, but super sad to see her go.
Sue Bird shot 47% from 3 in 2020. Pretty crazy.

Easy first ballot HOF. An absolute legend
Just because most of us have never heard of her doesn’t mean her accomplishments are less than incredible. I don’t follow the WNBA but acknowledge that this is a hell of an accomplishment. Good for her.
Who?
Is she related to Larry Bird?
One of the best females to ever play the game. I’ve followed ball for years and never heard of you. Unfortunately, that’s the type of product WNBA is. I’m glad she was able to do what she wanted.
Sad that these days you have to wonder if it’s really a woman or not. Feel bad for the 99% women not the 1% imposters.
What stands out the most to me is the 5 time Olympic Gold Medal stat. Respect.
Not related to Larry 🐦
