Interesting. There are a lot of layers to this. To those on the left, it could look simply like an admission and divesting from Trump. To the right tho, it could look like a sardonic indictment of politically-motivated prosecution aimed at Trump; asking it to stop, and putting the validity of the attempts heavily in question. It positions Trump as the defeated hero; he isn’t shown as a bad ruler, but rather as someone to be empathized with.
