> A group of bickering suburbanites find themselves stuck together when an android uprising causes their well intentioned household robots to lock them in for their own safety.
By the director of Amélie. The film is releasing Feb 11th
I’d love to watch this if there’s a dubbed version.
And before the purists jump in, I do watch subtitled films. However, this one appears visually complex, which makes reading subtitles distracting. In this case, I would prefer a dubbed version.
Very excited for this. Jeunet makes SUCH gorgeous films and his characters are always quirky, interesting and lovable so that there is heart and soul to compliment the stunning visuals.
The one thing you can say about Jeunet, it never looks like anything you’ve seen before (Speed Racer maybe ? ). I expect that once again I shall be entranced, amazed and a bit frustrated and bored. I’ll probably laugh twice, but they’ll be big, authentic, well deserved laughs.

This looks like fun!
Is this basically a full-movie version of that Love, Death + Robots episode?
There sure are a lot of “AI helper goes haywire” movies coming out recently, huh? Not that I’m complaining.
I’d love to watch this if there’s a dubbed version.

edit: Misspelling
Production design looks wild
I fucking love subtitles
Weird, French, ’50’s-esque sci-fi? I’m in.
this reminds me of a love, sex and robots story last year when their household robot goes rogue
I’ll check out anything this guy does.
A Jeunet movie on Netflix? I’m in.

The French version of Smart House. Hell yeah!
That’s great and all, but when will Netflix make Suicide Squad Guardians X-Men 47!?

Jeunet’s films are so unique, I love them. Glad to see he’s been working on something!
