Speaking of movies make you go, “yeah, this is an objectively bad movie, but man I love this hot garbage”?
I loved this movie as a teen even though I knew it was pretty bad. Must have watched it a dozen times over the course of a fairly boring summer.
Cyborg’s actually pretty rad in a “did I accidentally take too much Dayquil” kinda way.
I hope Puyn himself is able to see this and in a small way, see the cultural impact his art has had. The man directed feature films from his balls with zero budget and produced films infinitely more entertaining than any given cape movie churned out today.
Man, I loved Full Moon flicks as a kid. They were some of the earliest horror to hook me, because they weren’t too scary and always felt like they starred collectible toylines.
Alien From LA is great, definitely check that one out, the MST3K episode is classic.
