Titan Souls. It’s hard as hell too.
Hollow knight pantheon
Pretty much any megaman but I’m partial to zero because of the sword play, but they all have a boss rush at the end

There is a boss rush run and gunner on the SNES or Mega Drive. I don’t remember the name. Will edit when I find it.
EDIT: Got it. It’s called “Alien Soldier” (very generic). It is sort of a hidden gem on the Mega Drive / Genesis due to the name being so underwhelming.
