We had this photo hanging in my dining room for the first 13 years of my life. I never realised what it was actually depicting until I started bumping into it as an adult. Back then it was just people in black and white.

Had a poster of this from a gallery show, signed by Ms. Orkin, who was very gracious and personalized it to my wife and me..
I took it to a local frame shop who misunderstood the direction, and they cut the photo out of the poster, threw the rest (including signature) out, and framed the small print.
It’s been decades and I’m still pissed off.
Geez, even the gentlemen doubling on the moped are leering at that poor woman.

As a dude, I think I may have known the feeling she seems to be having. When I had to walk by the bullies at school. I just hoped to make it through unscathed.

If anyones curious, Orkin was on vacation with the woman in the picture, she did a few walk throughs of the scene to get this photo and even told the man on the motorbike not to look at the camera!

Is it staged?
We have that poster at my shop/showroom (mostly because we specialize in vintage italian scooter like the one in the photo). Some of us just refer to it at the “me too poster”
I was reading a comment thread the other day saying how it can be dangerous for women (they specified blonde, blue eyed) to backpack alone through Italy. Looks like that’s been an issue for a bit.
This scene is what inspired her to start a pest control company.
