The noise activated lights are quite funny, when I lived in China they had them in the corridors or residential complexes. All the real estate agents had Theorien distinct click noises they did every half minute or so to make sure they stay on. I remember always slamming the door to the staircase when bringing out the trash to make sure the lights are on… 🙂
A friend of mine sent me a different clip of the same couple. In that one, the guy is chastising the wife for buying a light which is activated by singing and dancing, so he’d be yelling at her while cooking something and then the light would go off so they’d sing and wave their hands in the air to reactivate it then he’d start yelling again. Dialogue was something along the lines of “you told me to get an energy saving light bulb so I did.” “YES BUT I AM A COOK, I CAN’T COOK WHILE DANCING AND SINGING” *light bulb goes off* *couple and staff starts singing while waving their hands in the air* *light bulb switches on again* “AT FHE SAME TIME! At this rate I’ll be losing weight!”
I love how people love to see these type of shit that is obviously not meant to be real and want to just make sure every one knows, “HEY GUYS, DON’T FALL FOR IT. IT’S SCRIPTED ASIAN GIFS”. Then I remember my college student center where I over heard people discuss the philosophy and reasoning behind Dragon Ball Z and Marvel comics, like it was so real to them. They were so passionate about the character’s decision and story arc.
We have wifi lights all over the house. My brother visited with his kids and my daughter convinced them that the rooms were voice activated. You just had to yell “lights ON” and the lights would turn on. She then followed them around with the Kasa app on her phone and turned lights on and off for 20 minutes before Jr noticed what she was doing. Jr didn’t say anything for another 10 minutes and watched his sister continue to yell at the lights. (Jr is 8, his sister is 5) It was pretty funny, and to be honest I was a little confused about the lights for a half a minute too even though I’m the one that installed all the switches 🙂
