Nice techniques. Did you use different stains and a blow torch? You didn’t carve the box itself I assume, and you used a burner to achieve the symbol?

what a coincidence, I just finished my ghost/spectre/clean hands/mostly flesh and metal run last night
Now carve a piece of [whale bone](https://oyster.ignimgs.com/mediawiki/apis.ign.com/dishonored/6/60/Rune.png) to put in the box!
That symbol really reminds me of the crest from evergrace

I’m shocked no one mentioned this in your last post: literally any of the runes from Diablo II. There’s 33 to choose from. Pick your favorite lol.
You could like the ‘Berserk symbol’ the one Guts has on him
you’ve probably already done it if you’ve done this a lot but the hunters mark from bloodborne or the curse mark from the Cod zombies map Shadows of Evil would probably look good.

I think the Bridge Four rune from Stormlight Archive would look dope af in that style.

(I would honestly by an unhealthy amount of wood carved Dishonored items if I could, a carving of the mask would be neat or a statue of the Void Whales
God of war symbols would match the style as well.
You should look into carving the allomantic symbols from the Mistborn novels, I feel like they’d match your style perfectly
