Elia5?
Okay, so in English:
Sprint finishes are where a group of riders has made a breakaway and are all racing as hard as they can to the finish line.
4-up just means there were four riders in this sprint finish.
“Bike Throw” is where you see the rider push the bicycle forward at the last second to try and get the front of their bike over the finish line just that much faster. It looks like the rider is sitting down behind the seat.
Why did I watch the video expecting this guy to actually throw his bike…I’m ashamed
The others to the guy in pink: Too soon, junior.
Watch the guy in blue, he’s the winner
I’ve lost sprints because the competition was better at throwing the bike than I was (I’m an amateur-level racer). I thought I was good at this maneuver, but I’m not.
Taco van der Hoorn came second in the sprint, but he’s the current maillot jaune for best pro-peloton name. GOAT is Christian Poos.
How important is it to win a particular stage? Does it offer a significant advantage?
It’s crazy to see how much better the pack fared than the pink guy that went ahead. Does it really make that much of a difference?
is it weird if my legs twitch watching the video?
Holy shit this was intense. Thanks for sharing, fucking amazing.
ITT: A bunch of people confused when nobody actually threw their bike across the finish line.
Pink guy hit the nos button too early.
Man. It’s kinda frustrating though. Like you get such an advantage being the “slower” competitor. That’s so backwards from most sports
What THE FUCK did I just watch. Are they still testing these stags… I mean lads?
Meh, its ok… the first 20 finishers or so will probably be disqualified over the next 3-4 years for banned substances.
